Otherwise there's plenty of other meta archetypes to be played instead; US midrange, US ramp, Soviet self-damage, Brit Air, German discard, OTK etc. Just to name a few - Additionally I'm expecting many of these to be shaken up quite a bit and more diverse meta changes with both the reserve pool and the Brothers in Arms expansion soon to be released; latter of which including the new 'Veteran' mechanic.
like other people already explained to you, it's just to climb the ranks fast. Once you reach the OC ladder people play a bit more serious because now games actually counts when in the ranks it doesn't matter if you lose a game.
It could also be an issue with you always playing at the same time of the day. You'll encounter different people at different time of the day.
Right now, it is more balance, but can't say it's perfect because mid game deck also still having hard time to counter blitz deck, while blitz deck can easily crash late game deck. What I know work for now against them, using deck that have guard units/mass removal. Even so, you need to pray that 3k BLITZKRIEG don't show up in the first 3 turn... The card should be an elite card, because it also reduce operation cost for the unit... Not sure why devs not nerf it yet...
