KARDS - The WWII Card Game

Nerf Leopold and 9,2" coastal gun!
Yes, some cards should be better than others, but you litterally have no chance of winning anymore when you meet these cards. The Leopold puts all your cards back in your hand and one-hits them when you deploy them again, while the coastal gun heals the enemy HQ while one-hitting most of your cards. If they are guarded or if the enemy has the frontline, you might as well just surrender.

Put some removal in your deck.
xD arty should just get a kind of nerve like enemy arty can hit back when attacked or can not strike at planes.
because 2 stronge artys with a guard and a fighter in the last line at is like over ...
only some orders can get you out of this one.
idk about arty NOT hitting planes, as some arty cards are anti-aircraft guns.
What's more, infantry and tanks can attack planes, fighters especially.
It's almost as if this game encourages S T R A T E G Y :HentaiGirlLinda_like:
anti aircraft guns that strike way behind enemy lines at planes ... i say they can not atack planes not that they can not strike back.
and if you want strategy how about this one arty can only shoot when the front is in your possesion?
totally agree , it' just nonsense . nearly, it makes same impact as " British Royal Resarch - 12",
only difference is , additional removal ( cards from hand), but you need to use 3 + 6 + 9 + 12 = 30 kredit point for "Bletchly Park " and only 10 for leopold !!!! just stop this nonsens plz.
it f.cks the balance of the game , just nerf it !

The Coastal Gun isn't really all that good. I've rarely seen it used. Leopold is a very strong card. Pretty bad design in that it's way too good at low-tier while only being ok with more experienced players. For new players, it can seem impossible to deal with though. As others have said, try to keep some removal in-hand. Non-rush German decks are likely running it, or at least, you should plan on it.
You will find ways to deal with the Leopold - orders, units with deployment effects / units with Blitz can remove it.
Sure, the Coastal Gun has 4/4 and heals your HQ. Extremely powerful, right?
But it also costs 7, 2 to use, and still requires you to have a fortified supply line. Not to mention that once it's on the field, it paints a giant target on itself.

Whenever I have used it in MP, the situation either wasn't feasible or it died so quickly, that it was ultimately a waste of kredits. I found the 8,8 cm-Flak to be much better.
Unless you run a ramp deck it cant possibly be played before 10 credits... Theres all sorts of removal in this game for it. Its commonly used just for the retreat mechanic as the opponent will 9/10 times have a removal or even mind control BS and just take it from you lmao.

Its also not a bad idea to expect a leo and Komit in every german deck.
You all do realize this thread was started over a year ago, right?

Leopold is the cost and strength, as the day of the post.

Well, I'd say that because of the powercreep of each expansion, Leopold is not even in the top 10 of most broken cards now. At launch it might have been the single strongest card and may well have been responsible for driving many new players away because of how unbeatable it seemed.

Not debating the relative strength of LEO has been lessened.
I am questioned the concept of people poo-pooing a thread response based on whether it was posted in the last 45 mins.

Yes, the relative strength of LEO is less in the overall game since BETA, however it's still a strong card; so the original questions remains valid.
