French resistance cards
What is the purpose of those cards? What do they do besides clog up your hand?

Clogging up your hand.

If you get rid of them, they burn a card. If you hold them, cards like sabotage or bretagne bomber can punish.

I hate these cards. Please dont play them.

Most of the time when you see resistence cards played you can expect to hate your life for the next 3-4 minutes lol.

Costs you kredits to play them, which you pretty much have to or otherwise certain orders and units will wreck you. Often the enemy will fill up your hand so much you cant draw any new cards, which is bad because you dont get any new options that turn. And finally ANYTHING that forces a retreat means those cards are discarded because you dont have room to put them back into your hands. Its possible to get ♥♥♥♥ on pretty hard against this matchup. If your puzzled by what the guy was doing, odds are he wasnt very good or his deck isnt at its best level just yet.

Yes I can confirm that I am using this many times and it is fatal for enemy. It is great tacticts if you have good set up another cooperating forces. French bomber even in two pieces is reducing your amount of cards in deck fast if you are keeping the resistance cards on your hands. Sabotage card is very effective agaist oyu HQ because can ambush you HQ and if you have 4 resistance cards on your hands + 1 sabotage is used by opponent it emnas 5 destroyerd point of your HQ what is very effective especially in the time of closing the game.

They need a re-work... There is zero fun in trying to deal with resistance cards. Either you lose a cards getting rid of them or you lose HP for keeping them. There is no bright side to those cards. At least if my enemy slaps down a massive bomber I have a chance to deal with it before it causes any damage. French resistance causes damage no matter what you do.
You could play an aggro deck and simply ignore the resistance cards (most of the time). As they have zero board impact resistance decks have a pretty hard time winning vs aggressive decks.

And if I don't want to play aggro, then what can I do? I can't still be ready only against resistance, I also want to play something else ...It's a tactic that requires one very specific answer, and that's wrong. There should be cards with opposition to resistance cards ... for ex. secret police, gendarmes and so on, and these cards could be useful in other styles of play.

When you play a midrange deck, you have to bring your "a-game" to get to somewhere close to 50:50. Control decks on the other hand loose pretty hard vs resistance.

I really like playing (against) resistance decks.
My collection is missing "Sabotage" but that 'll change in a while.
The resistance decks I've played against were not very dangerous - maybe it was just trying by my opponents.
In any case I like to play french cards to get the achievements. :)

Yea, I am veteran player, playing mostly control an lost many very boring games against it! I have to say that I've never built a French deck, although I have an entire collection (and I could easily win with it, but why ?, the opponent often doesn't stand a chance, it's boring). Nevertheless, I have hundreds of French cards played in my statistics. :))

Yeah, that 's a nice side effect. :cozyteddymoo:

I never built a french deck. I refuse to waste my in game currency on allegance decks. The people with french resistance decks prob just bought 10+ decks.

Since its a meta deck and people think its really powerful and stuff i just make troll commando decks and it totally grinds them down lol. Each resistance card counts as an order keep that in mind.
Griffstanker Jun 13, 2020 @ 7:33pm
Resistance decks, in my opinion, are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cancer. i will admit they aren't common but when i run into them i just want to put my hand through the screen and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the player who's using the deck. it wouldn't be so bad if they nerfed Viva la Resistance as it's cost to ability ratio is too cheap as it cost 1 (or 2, can't quite remember) to play and you force the opponent to hold 2 Resistance cards in their hand, not to mention it's a common card, there is a Japanese lost cost infantry unit they mitigates this as each turn it's in play, it removes a card from your hand from the game, but if you're running Japanese, even as ally, you're either running an aggro, burn, or aircraft deck. Honesty the "Resistance" effect needs an overhaul even though it's only been out for around a year as it's infuriating to deal with and, in my opinion, a very toxic effect to build around. I will admit that i hate most of the cards that came with the Allegiance Set as they tend to be either aggravating to play against or they're just down right toxic.

Well, my advice to that is not to deploy units you know will just get killed instantly. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet, take damage to your HQ and pray you draw the cards required to take back the field or silence those guns. Spamming down cards to take the hit often just leaves you with no cards.

I have the new problem of having too many cards, but it's a good problem to have. Other times you just get screwed...which isn't any fun, but at some point you have to admit that there was nothing to be done.

Mind you I have no idea how bad it is that far up the chain of domination...probably never will...but I'm just trying to help.
yes i know that bro thanks
my point is if they've got arty and bombers with plus 5 attack etc and there's 3 or more your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens a lot just PROCESS to get to that point that's why i think there should be a limit ADDS heaps more TACTICAL content rather than boring process.
there are artillery and bombers that add different effects to the game, but i get what you're getting at. support line play is aggravating to deal with and without cards that can silence them, even for a turn, it's quicker to hit that surrender button then trying to find a way to deal with them. a means to balance them would be put an effect on all the aircraft to where if they reach a certain attack damage threshold, they get the effect the Japanese coast howitzer has, where it is incapable of attacking the HQ.
