KARDS - The WWII Card Game

What to play against the Soviet Guard decks?
Apparently 90% of decks are these Soviet Guard decks that stack guards front line, and fire artillery all game.

What's the best deck against these? Seems like I'm going to have to go this route until the meta shifts.

Use units that have the retreat ability to push them back into support line or back into your opponent's hand and then hold the front line with tanky units of your own.

Be more aggressive, those cards have 1 attack and in no way should've had the power to push into the front unless you left it open for them.

there are also some great removals for them, deal 1 damage to all, look that up in your collection. There is a bit of patience/timing involved in letting the board fill up a bit with those then just slam them all with a 1, 2 or 3 kredit removal. But becareful, especially paired with USA, they will all get buffed so it is a bit risky maybe... :). Curious if other think get rid of them asap, or let them accumulate a bit to use the mass removal (only if you have it hand, I wouldn't wait to draw it this way)

I had a bad draw, and couldn't get a unit to the front line before turn 4. So they played that 1\8 Guard card and basically it was over at that point. I normally play Japan Germany, because I'm new and that seems to be the cards I got the most of in the beginning. Pretty hard to deal with a 1\8 as Japan, as most the Japanese cards have more power than defense.

If you play Japan, consider crafting some Amphibious Assaults. Also, sometimes bad draws happen and bad match-ups happen. Can't win them all.

The German and Japanese decks are crap until you get some better cards.

Lol, basically all decks are crap until you get the correct card.

Yup, either need to keep the board clean from the very start or have some strong removal cards on hand. Retreats handy if they have buffed the attack on the guard cards. Ive worked in a fair bit of draw into my decks to help me fish for what i need. Been a few times ive gotten down to 10 or less cards in my pile and still managed not to pull any of the 5 cards that would of saved me.

Just the way she goes lol
