Field marshal with all faction with no money spent ( Just want to share )

I did not use any guide from the forums and I gradually made the limited cards for the nation that I was trying to reach at the top, I can say that overall my winrate should be very low because I spend more time trying to build a useful deck and losing it later and doing tests until finding a deck that can keep a winrate above 50%, but it is very difficult because the amount of players is very small and when winning 2 in a row I found 3 matches against the top100, in the beginning I was able to surrender fast not to lose time, but over time the difference in decks will decrease and you can pick up some victories against the stronger decks with some luck that are enough to rise in the rankings. The last two field marshal were the most difficult as I try to mount a deck always facing ready decks of other field marshall that are just trying to get higher in the ranking of the officers is very difficult, the only thing that facilitates is the achievements that increase much your collection. I can say that it was more sweat than skill, probably many of you have already won me many times in a row. I just wanted to share my experience with all and big hug. Sry bad english, i come from Brazil and dont saw a portuguese community yet.

same i didnt spend and didnt craft- got to field marshal with all 5- german nation was the hardest to level to field marshall with that self limitation

Your winrate, amount of time spent, how many of your opponments were newbies with starter+ decks, drops from packs. That matters, not the fact you got to the oc.
Game must be fun and attract players. After yesterday I've faced as germans 4 enemies in a row with cards I cannot outplay no matter what, and this happening again and again - it's not fun.

To be honest I also wondered why of all postings this one got pinned. No offense towards the OP but as a non-english native myself I had a hard time figuring out what he's trying to say.
Also what Ben is saying is correct no matter the aggressive tone - since you can't lose rank and you're matched only based on your ELO reaching Field Marshall is only a matter of time not a measurement of how good you are.

Just to clarify, I'm neither mad nor do I think the game is bad. Quite the opposite actually, it's in the top 3 TCGs I've ever played already and it has a lot of potential to get even better.

And that's the reason why I made my first post - it reflects badly on the game to have a poorly worded (again - no offense, I know my English isn't good either) thread with unclear intentions as the only pinned topic. One of the most important tasks right now is to show new players just how f2p friendly Kards is - this thread is not achieving that.

Ben I think you lost your objectivity and your angry. What the your root cause of your anger is I don't know. I would like to counter what your saying for clairity, it seems you need to cement your argument with facts not feelings.

On the plural thing, you can see I had it in quotes initially. I was quoting the person I was talking to. Since you're grammar policing, please do so at the right person. Also, please read my posts before replying. FYI, it's "you're" not "your", no need to thank me.

When I say that something is insulting, yes, it does imply some level of anger. Very good, you understand!

If you read my first post which triggered the rest of the replies, you can see that there is actually no value to this pinned post. You can get Officer Club simply by losing games. There is no progress, you're not getting better, ranks have nothing to do with getting better.

Since there's no value, why is it pinned? It's misleading. Why would they try to mislead people? It's insulting that they think pinning this proves anything. I do want the game to succeed too. Have you looked at the steamcharts statistics?

The net player gain is negative with 320 players average since release a month ago. Refusing to acknowledge there are flaws, telling people it's fine by pinning this post (which isn't even the first person to make this exact same statement in a new thread, there were at least 2 others prior), isn't helping. I would suggest that YOU are the one hurting progress by trying to silence criticism.

Btw, i have precisely 100 hours in the game, I have not spent a dime, and i just got to officer club, being Field Marshall at 3 nations, rank 136 atm. I started i think 3 weeks ago.

So, I can ensure you, this game, is not p2w at least until now. The guy who made the original post is right. The elite cards are EXTREMELY broken, but with so many packs for free, i have 2 or 3 at each nation to build my game this way.

Also, the meta in this card game, is quite fluid. Believe me, in HS, and other mainstream games, you can play with ONLY 2 or 3 decks to climb to the top. These 2 or 3 decks change from time to to time by the company in order to push people to buy cards (rIght now in HS, is control warrior and tempo rogue) Here, this doesn`t exist. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It is NOT possible to get in higher ranks in HS and other card games, without paying. Here, for various reasons, you can do it. That is what the guy, wanted to say, that`s all.

Also, do not be salty cause someone who does not pay does the same, or better than you, who bought cards. It happens in all aspects of life, some people to be more capable than you to achieve things. The faster you understand it, the more you will try to be better.
