i would recommend to dont believe george, he is just noobish
- use the 4/5 US soldier unit (the unit that makes ur hq immune on ur turn) then kill the burn units so u take no damage
-use jasco to reduce all damage to HQ by 1 or the russian 0/4 elite card that gives you 2 health everytime one of your units dies
- Use british and put the 3/4 unit that gives u health or fortification that gives you 7hp i think or the arterillery that cost 7k that gives you defence every time you attack. Or use naval power.
-Use national fire service
- Use takasagi regiment (3/6 japanese guard card that when destroyed, forces the enemy to discard). guarding and discarding really hurts ♥♥♥ burn decks
- use a german/US blitz deck to be even faster than the japanese burn deck. On average a japanese burn deck can kill u in 8 turns. A good German blitz can do it in 6 turns
- Use a german discard deck, airstrike,wolfpack, u-375. Discard decks are powerful against ♥♥♥ burn cuz they tend to rely on early aggression that they get through deploying units hence not enough space to have too many draw power cards.
- counter with ur own ♥♥♥ burn deck and put in national fire service so you have the last laugh.
-use a russian/british deck that revolves around scotch earth/national fire service/katyusha/final push/fortification and the soviet "half your health" card to prolong the match long enough so that you can snipe the enemy with a 3x final push katyusha
Generally i find that if u have a few cards that give u hp and some good guard cards you can prolong a ♥♥♥ burn deck, long enough so that all you have to worry about are their blitz air units and giving you enough time to put down your high kredit cost units since ♥♥♥ burn revolves around 3kredit and they tend not to have anything past early game and also tend to run out of cards faster than normal but also be careful of taking the frontline cuz sometimes they blitz suicide to win game.
This is where you want to look for input.
Generally speaking though it's very important to have T1 aggro/burn decks in the meta because it forces the control decks to think about their early game. Without early game threats the meta usually derails into endless control/counter play battles.
The "problem" (if you want to call it that way) is that it's way easier to build a top notch Japanese burn deck than it is to build any one of the other T1/T1,5 decks. Since the game is only going for about 7 weeks now most non-whales still have a limited collection and that's why the Japanese burn deck is so common currently.
However, it's very easy to counter a burn deck.
Steal aggro from them and their deck falls apart. Most of their card draw revolves around having units in the front line so you can out pace them in card advantage.
Have a few healing cards in your deck and you dramatically slow down their ability to rack up damage to win.
Use bounce cards (Retreat from the support line causes return to hand, aka bounce) to bounce units like Ki-43 Hayabusa and Mito Regiment. In an aggro deck terms, bouncing a 3K unit is very costly and they will have to use up 3K resources again the following turn(s) to drop them again. Mito costs 4K to use its Blitz effect.
Stick units that have 3 HP or more in the front line, yes, including fighters. Japanese units can't trade for these 1:1 so you'll always come out ahead.
When mixed with Germany, it's basically autowin.
You will see Japan - German decks all season long until there is adjustments made or new cards introduced to counter the Destruction effects of 2 damage to enemy HQ.
When I see a ♥♥♥ Deck, as soon as they use a GER card, I just surrender and move on.
I don't want to be forced to play a counter deck all the time because some players just want to abuse that mechanic to feel like they are the best players in the universe. It's lame...
