did you notice a longer than normal load into the match UI after you selected your deck by any chance ?
Unfortunately on this occasion I was unaware and didn't expect an issue, so I didn't have any recording on, and I cancelled the game quickly after the mulligan issue and then (forgot to mention this) I also had my time cancelled on the next round for choosing cards. Mostly in case there was a security risk other than just a potential cheat.
Anyway I am not making a big deal, I accept it could be a bug also it's just that it seemed a bit specific.
I will record from now on if I am worried but it is a shame that I would have to. I just like this card / strategy game, wasn't expecting to need to have worries. I mean I hardly even do this (comment on Steam)
A swan is the name of the person that first replied to your question. If you look you will see his name is..... Maj. Boyd "BIBLE" Swan .
I was questioning whether there might be a a cheat going on only because it was literally something I wasn't expecting but seemed weird: I've seen lots of stuff which I expect with early access testing and such but this complete removal of the mullligan time, and also the timer for the next round made me just quit, and then also restart my computer.
I accept it might be my over-cautious and also it might have just been a glitch but I exited immediately for my PC safety and didn't mote the names or make a recording. What I meant in my earlier message is that i am used to having to do so in other games, not meaning this one.
This is the first time I've genuinely felt this might have an issue worth asking about. It just seemed like something that shouldnt happen.
I will start taking notes and recordings of this game so I can help better if there is a problem, than this OP did
One thing have to consider is it most likely happened to your opponent too, UNLESS you loaded slowly and he was waiting for you client to sync up and arrive ion the match. CHeat I would say has a LESSER chance in this case as it would almost have to be tied to your opponent emplying a second one that somehow allowed him to place the cards he wanted to have in his hand before the match went live and started. Reason I say this is, is it not a huge advantage to him to simply take the first cards he gets on the draw at start of game and somehow manipulate your time to do so as well.
He has as big a chance at that point of getting a bad draw, if not more than you do. Its possible that it is though and it is set up for you to go first and that makes it even harder on you as you get less amount of cards and also no chance to pick a mulligan card or two. I am honestly going to say that its a bug, but until devs reply to you, its is really anyones guess as to which. The cheating issue is linked to a general issue in most cases to client to client syncing and is KNOWN to the Dev Team and they are working on potential fixes , just so you know its not being ignored.
FWIW I noticed nothing unusual about the load-in time.
I concede it could well be a bug i suppose but as an experienced gamer it just didn't sit well - as mentioned in the OP I'm used to and accepting of glitches and inconsistencies in this (cool) game.
Mulligan ending means time to pick your cards you wish to change out at the start of game is over or ending, time is running for the decision on that. I looked for where I out it couldn't find it.
It would not shock me one bit if it was a exploit as there is WAY to much of thast going on right now, and I see it all the time. I take video, like you and afterwards if they cheated or used exploit I file a ticket with name of my enemy and time of match and upload the video to google drive and give the support team access so they can watch. This helps them fine the exploit itself easier and lets deal out what the feel is proper to the player. WHich really, at this point needs to start being life time permanent BAN if its with intent, some cases are not intentional but most are.
