I asked him just to make sure that this was correct, and he confirmed this.
Sorry my friend, but should be able to down the road a ways.
Oh... sad, very sad. But, thank you a lot for replying, anxiously waiting the game to support integrated graphics.
And, it is always comforting to see people compromised with a game and supporting others, thanks again. :)
I also should tell you that Kards uses the UE 4 engine and actually has some pretty high PC reqs , VERY HIGH for a CCG type game. Your machine , if it could or soon can run Kards, will be pushed to the very limits of its capabilities most assuredly . So keep a eye on it when you play, especially the Temps.
My liquid cooled PC was hitting GPU temps of 150 F or so in the current build . This will be some what eased when they do the optimization pass on it, but for older machines will still not help as much as the users would like.
Cheers ! .... and keep the faith , maybe soon you will be able to play...
Stone Dog
Hello there Stone Dog, I came to this old discussion to ask if you have any news about the game supporting integrated graphics. I think you could help me.
I am still anxiously waiting to play this game.
Thank you very much in advance.
Here is the deal , as I know right now , you can try and run it on a integrated GPU , and there are many whom actually do this and it does work for them. MASSIVE BUT .................................
You are taking all risk of overheating on yourself, as it is currently not optimized for this, optimization will be, as it always tends to be in any games development , the LAST thing we get before a LIVE LAUNCH....
IF you use a laptop with integrated GPU ,and do wish to "TRY" ,do not sit on on anything that can trap heat... bed covers , even your lap, but play on a table or desktop like space with a clean space around the laptop so plenty of air can get to it.
You can possibly find many apps that you can use to also monitor you heat levels.. cut down the graphics to medium or low.... and play in windowed mode , one thats NOT your max setting for Resolution.
If these settings do ok, , you might try setting the res a little bit higher.. but just keep your eyes, or mind at least, on potential heat build-up .
I know of no one that has had a critical GPU Chernobyl type meltdown , to this point anyway. With the games engine being UE 4 , and not Unity , that reduces the heat risk.. but it is there regardless.
Let me know if you have any more questions, and you can post to me here, or Message me in Steam or on my profile if you need to do so. I will touch base with you as time, life, and my children allow ...
Cheers
So... I started the game twice and the same message that started this topic appears. I don´t know if my notebook is too bad to run the game, what I find strange, or if it is other problem. I politely ask you if you can help me, please.
Thank you for replying
Cheers

Hey, sorry for delay, I have been away a few days. Can you post me your Notebook Stats so I can see what we are trying to get working.
- 4gb of RAM memory
- DirectX 11
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
The video card informations are ( acording to DxDiag ):
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type: Internal
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0156&SUBSYS_064B1025&REV_09
Display Memory: 1760 MB
Dedicated Memory: 128 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB
Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Sorry for the delay too
Ok, thank you!
1. Your GPU is integrated and that is not supported , but alone not a huge issue in many cases.....but when you add in the second thing.......
2. You really do not have the system RAM to run KARDS with any real surety at all. THIS is whats causes you to freeze up.
Here is best thing I can tell you to stop the freezes... FIRST -do all the steps I mentioned in my previous post to you (See above post)....
SECOND-KILL EVERY NON CRITICAL BACKGROUND PROCESS YOU CAN... this is very crucial for you to do.
THIRD- I would log out of KARDS and back in after EVERY MATCH I PLAY if I were you. You are basically running clean out of RAM and thats what is causing your freeze ups I suspect, doing this will possibly help free that RAM you use in a match back up.
FOURTH- Have at least 20% of your notebooks internal storage (Hard Drive Space) free and unused at all times, and keep your HD defragged often. This will also help you a little, as it will allow for your OS to maximize your Virtual RAM/Page File its has at its disposal for when your system RAM gets low.
Sorry for the delay to reply, I am not using my notebook now, It isn't just mine, but of my family.
About what I can do to run the game, I will try them other time, the biggest problem is that the game don't even start, so some of the solutions I can't apply.
If I encouter another type of problem I you contact you for help.

its a HIDDEN file , so first go to your C drive root directory and make sure where it says VIEW in the upper right part of that window you have "SHOW HIDDEN" Checked ... then delete the save file at the end of the path I listed above , see if that might help.
