Monster Guide and Chest Achievements

Okay so I beat the game twice now and I still seem to missing a chest or multiple ones and the I filled the monster book in my 2nd playthrough but still haven't got the achievement. Now I made sure to double check every place for chests even had Detection on the whole time and everything is filled in the monster guide, is it just me or are these bugged?

Not bugged that I know of. I got the check achievement when looting a chest in the final dungeon. Kind of surprised me, as I normally always miss one of completion stuff. (yes, exactly 1)

Monster Guide has to have all the entries with ??? revealed, so maybe you missed one there? Simply having them in the guide isnt enough. Also, I think they wont appear in there unless you've seen them atleast once.

Hmm okay, it's possible I missed an enemy which sucks and as far the chest achievement I'll have to deal with it I guess just sucks cause I got it the first time I played it on the Vita.

There is a missable chest when you get to Underground Waterway 2 of Chapter 2. There is a path there that leads you outside to the Central Plaza. There you will find a chest locked behind gates.

Also, might be useful to equip Detection onto Rean. It will show undiscovered chests on the map.

As for monster guide, make sure there is no ???? on each entry. They all need to be fully analyzed to unlock the achievement.

I think Shining pom from DLC item is required for monster achievment. Im not sure either do you need to scout them all or just encounter.

I seem to recall that the DLC Shining Pom monster shows up under the "extra" category in the bestiary. I would be surprised if it is required for the achievement, and I would check all other entries first. But I suppose it is possible.
