He didn't say that though. He said that he just likes the English version better. He just prefaced that he's seen a lot of media in different languages.
After finding out the Dio Brando's voice actor (Takehito Koyasu) plays Olivert, I'd enjoy hearing the Japanese version just to see that crazy contrast.
Please, just stop. You're giving those of us who prefer to avoid dubs a bad name by acting like this.
OP: I feel pretty similar to you. It's a more than passable dub, and most characters are cast fairly well. There are a handful that I dislike (ok, mainly just Millium and to a lesser extent Alisa), but as dubs go it's nothing to get upset about.
Agreed, I also prefer japanese voices, but the dub in this game is very decent. The few characters I had a problem with were Towa, Millium and Alisa, they often didn't sound natural. The rest was perfectly fine.
