This also affects buildings.
This will be fixed in the Early Access release.
- In the settings screen, the controller pop-up can't be closed and overlays the settings options even if you cose the settings and re-open them.
- When in the bug submission screen, your typing has an effect on the game in the background
- Game won't recognise my wired Xbox 360 controller and I can't see a way to default to it
Other than that It's a great game. I would really prefer to be able to use the controller though, more support is needed there please.
I am having somewhat the same issues. The controller screen in settnigs is the exact same. I AM able to use my xbox 360 controller but only once I am in game. It does not work at the main menu or choosing levels
Thanks for the feedback!
- I was unable to reproduce this problem, except when I had odd aspect ratios that hid the close button. However, the Settings Menu is going to be completely replaced very soon and will resolve this.
- Added this to my bug fix list... ironically xD
- This one is the most concerning because it's best played with a controller. I use a third party plug-in (called "Rewired") for controller support. It's been pretty solid so far and Xbox 360 controllers are supported (http://guavaman.com/projects/rewired/docs/SupportedControllers.html)
--If you have any third party controller software installed, try disabling it and enter the game; see if it is causing a conflict.
--Try unplugging the controller, restart game, and plug it back in AFTER the game finishes loading up. This will force the game to re-check for connected devices.
If the issue still persists, please send a bug report in-game (Ctrl+B) so it will send me system specs and I can try to figure it out.
EDIT: Just had to press ESC. Might wanna fix that.
cannot be used 360controller
Thanks, getting quite a few 360 controller issue reports so I'm checking into it, hoping to discover a solution very soon.
Xbox One and PS4 controllers seem to be working fine though.
