Bought it only for the Story Mode, and I enjoyed it a lot. It was a nice change to play through the bad guy's eyes since, in most games, you are the hero, but the price tag is way too big. It would be worth a maximum of $20 if you are in it just for the story. As for the multiplayer, I haven't tried it. It would be nice if they will add more campaigns in the future based on all the movies, but most probably, that will not happen.

The game has basically turned into Dead by Daylight 2. Michael Myers feels nothing like he did when the game first launched. He's been nerfed so hard that survivors spend more time trolling, making fun of you, and wasting your time than actually playing the game.

What used to be a fun and terrifying experience is now just frustrating and disappointing. **Definitely not recommended, especially at this price.**

The game itself is great, but the constant complaints from the community have become increasingly exhausting. At this point, it feels like nobody even knows what they want anymore, with the ongoing conflict between killer mains and survivor mains overshadowing the actual game.

To give the developers credit, they've done a decent job fixing certain bugs and improving optimization. The work isn't perfect, but there has been some solid progress.

When it comes to balancing, however, the developers don't seem to have a clear direction. They appear to adjust the game based on whichever side is currently the loudest rather than following a consistent vision.

Playing killer now requires a much more tactical approach, and even the smallest mistake can have a significant impact on the outcome of a match. It often feels like you have to sweat just to enjoy a decent game. At times, it reminds me more of Dead by Daylight than the experience I originally enjoyed.

As for survivor matches, I honestly haven't noticed any significant difference regarding changes to escape items, weapons or spawn rates.

I genuinely enjoy this game and believe it has a lot of potential, which makes it disappointing to see how much the community has affected my experience. Social media is filled with endless arguments between killer and survivor mains, and this constant conflict has become almost impossible to avoid. Many requested changes seem more focused on giving one side an advantage than achieving actual balance. Eventually, I simply grew tired of this unavoidable back and forth, and that is what pushed me towards leaving a negative review.
