do you ever get to evolve into a human and start a human colony ect..?

You never get to play as humans in this game. Evolving into ♥♥♥♥ ergaster ends the game. Playing as early humanity will be the focus of the sequel if/when it is made.

Don't even get to learn anything beyond a sharp stick. It was so disappointing playing this when it was released. It was cool at first don't get me wrong but you honestly don't evolve to the point I was most excited for like learning the beginning of manipulating fire or something.

The games takes you 10 millions years back, so i doubt that manipulating fire was a thing
