clan member won't take care of themselves

So I think I'm on the edge of the savannah now, some clan members won't eat or drink unless I take control of them. I don't want to have to control 10 different apes. Anyone else experiencing this? Any way around it?

yeah I have the same problem, elders eat first always. Adults sometimes don't eat at all, and one of them always stands a mile away and won't come closer unless I hold down right trigger, but when I let go it tries wandering off again.

Best thing to do is group eat/drink, then analyse them and see which ones have the worst red circles.

If they're holding stuff in their hands (tools, weapons) they won't drink. If it's in their right hand, they won't eat either.

Do you have mimic unlocked? Clan follow?

Make everyone follow you, pick something up in your hand and then drop it, after you drop it tell them to mimic you. Then pick it up again and switch hands back and forth, tell them to mimic you the second time. Finally drop what you are holding and tell them to mimic you.

Now they should all have nothing in both hands. While they are still following you eat or drink and everyone should join in.

Actually since my last post, I have been testing this out.
It's a bug, no doubt about it.

After 'Lucy' evolution, possibly something to do with neurons governing food/energy.
Hominids hands empty, tried in expedition mode and just hanging round the base solo.

So whats happening; First start with water - Most of them drink, two to four of them won't, they just stand around looking stupid. Drink drink drink, keep restarting the action not just holding down the button (done both ways). Then go look at all hominids, they drank but it didn't help, infact they got nothing from following leader actions. So drink drink drink with that one, first one stays good. This one fills up, but the others that drink don't. Have to use everyone of them. I now save time by just going eating berries.
Which brings us to food; Same thing happens, they decimate all food stuff. But unless it's the one your controlling it doesn't fill them up.

Stockpiling; This does not work at all, pile food,grab one and tell them to grab one each, then eat, wait till they finish, grab another and repeat. still does nothing except you the leader.

My conclusion is that it's a bug, that also became apparent when one of my hominids got the "need water" symbol stuck on his bottom left UI. And even as leader, filled to his eyeball with water, that symbol is still there. Hoping it goes off on my next evolution.
