finding a fishing spot

I've been up and down the river, twice bitten by a green mamba, trying to find a fishing spot. Is there pre-condition ... a neuronal achievement, etc.?

You should be able to identify it right from the start - there's one right under the waterfall at the starting settlement.

If you're having trouble finding them try Smelling - they smell fishy.

There is like water animation similar to real life water movement. Also there is a sense to it.

Well, I finally found it ... in senses the reeds were filled with the demon red eyes ... I had to focus and remember several times but it took a long time to get "poke". Is fishing limited? like, 1 fish every few days? Thanks, again, for the good advice!

It is limited but I don't know how many days between pokes.

There is one in your starting spot. Just look around for an area of tall grass in the water.

I want to know why my apes get sick after eating fish. Its weird.

You need to keep eating stuff that makes you sick to build tolerance over time (except unripe berries - those will *always* make you sick) and become omnivorous (can eat anything).

Every time you eat something that makes you sick, the sickness goes away faster.
