Time - Clock
Time in game is entirely too fast. Minutes count as seconds, hours as minutes. By the time I walk from center of camp to the border half the day is lost (a little jest, but you get the point). Please we need an option to have in game time run slower. As is, too much "time" is spent sleeping. I want to spend time exploring and playing rather than eating, drinking and sleeping.

The game feels too rushed. Yeah I get it, we're trying to beat science to the punch of evolution however, could we have an option to "just play" at our own pace, at least once we have completed the goal of the game?

Why do we have to drink like elephants? 1 - 3 scoops would do. Again, time! Time is the one thing in life we cannot get back so don't want to waste it in any game!

Please Dev's clean up time! Needs to be slowed while venturing, exploring, crafting, foraging, fighting etc; sped up for chores such as drinking, sleeping, eating etc. Options Dev's options! Fast for some, slower for others! Really want to enjoy the primates, not just bully them around to evolve!

I don't know what problem you have. Normally I drink and ate once a day, usually after sleep.
Later in the game you will unlock some perks that allow you to get more energy from the food.

From my experience, flower or fruits are usually faster to get that energy. I try to avoid meat and coconouts, they are so slow. Fungus also give fast energy.

Agree. Also frustrated by a lot of games that have a too fast time (like Red Dead Redemption 2).

Agree. I also think the time moves way too fast with this game. There is an option within the WeMod app to make it always morning which I thought would be useful but the clock still runs the same it just keeps the lighting of morning.

You don't need to return to your settlement to care for your clan or to sleep. They won't die from anything on their own, even outside your settlement. You can sleep anywhere by holding A to lay down as long as your primary hand is empty.

The nights do seem very long because we have no fire, no lamps, no night-vision goggles.

You can still do stuff at night tho, it's a good time to build up sensory XP by identifying everything you can see/smell. Or build your bipedal skills by walking around in water, standing up (when you're able) and walking a few steps, repeat, repeat.

Plus you can use it to craft stockpiles. I like to have a stockpile of Horsetail paste for treating injuries and sharp sticks for fighting.

Why don't just sleep until is day again? I don't understant the problems some people have with the game...

Seems like not many understand this game and the purpose of reality or simulation of survival. They don't have any imagination.

Over-react much? People just said they would like the days in the game to last a little longer. The really short days in this game have no particular relation to the point of the game. It is just a random decision the developers made. They could have put a slider in the options menu to let you alter then length of the days and nothing would really change other than the enjoyment for some players.

Stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.

When using a sense or intelligence to scout surroundings, clock stops. Clock also stops nearly immediately whenever not moving. This is fantastic!

"We won't help you much." Indeed! No complaints here on that subject. So used to games aggravatingly holding my freaking hand like a 3 year old, this game caught me completely off guard! Bravo Dev's BRAVO!

Still, not real sure why the clock has to be so fast when active! Can't get much done per day, alas I'll get used to it.

What is it you'd need to get done? You have basically an unlimited amount of days to spend and you can quickly sleep anywhere you want and get back to whatever you were doing.
