Grooming minigame not working

So I watched some YT videos and checked the internet on how to do it. But it's not working properly, there is no animation and also no sound when to stop.

I am having the same issue on pc. Crafting works fine, even dodged in combat but with grooming no animation no sound cue. Hold it a short time the clan all whoop, hold it too long het slapped hold I in between... Nothing. No animation no results. Have gotten the no whoop no slap 12 times in a row with no bonding showing up.

Ok the No HUD option worked. Was tired and didn't see there was a second page.

They don't have to be single, but you might want to check their parents. The game does not allow pairing brothers and sisters.

Solution!
I had the same problem guys, tho if your in the same boat as me, I was just doing it wrong (it does not work exactly like the rest of the uses).

Interact with monkey, choose groom (as normal)
When the next groming part comes in with the click and hold icon, this is NOT the grooming, this is to activate the grooming. Click and hold the button till the timer is full, then KEEP holding the button. only AFTER the click and hold fills up, does the grooming "challenge" start.

step 1 interact monkey
step 2 select groom
step 3 click and hold groom untill meter fills up and disapears, then continue to hold untill you hear the click. (as soon as you hear the click, release, then click and hold again untill you hear the next click to stay in the minighame

Are you trying to pair bond and mate? or just clan bonding?
6 clicks, you get slaps. 3 clicks you get applause. That's for clan bonding. Haven't tried pair bonding yet.

There is now a visual indicator. And Blindsided did indeed help, if you sit behind them and nothing happens, it's cause you are in position to groom, holding the button, till it fill and keep holding it till, the sound( I am almost deaf) and indicator *red/green screenborders flashes.
