OH MY GOD.. please help

I cant get my controls to work for some reason... im playing with mouse and keyboard.
I got the objectiv to build a sleep spot but I cant do anything more than picking up the plants and dropping them.
cant swith hands and cant inspect whats in my hand..
Am I missing something? Am I stupid? or is my game just broken..

Just keep stacking leaves on a pile until you see a build prompt.

I think 4 or 5 leaves will do it.

edit; I dunno what the keyboard layout is, but for inspecting you need to hold down the button a few seconds.

For switching and holding two items you need to activate a motor skill neuron first.

Im having a similar problem. I clicked on "E" to start construction but afterwards, there is no indication on the comand to actually build it, like it shows on the videos I´ve seen on Youtube. I tried to use the "space" button like It seems to show in the controls of the game and it doesnt work.
Are there any prior requirements to build the sleeping spot? I´ve inspected the plant and used one that is already built before.

How is it unplayable with keyboard n mouse when thats literally all i play with? You just hold buttons down its not rocket science.

Once I figured out which keys it was refering to I've had no issues playing with the keyboard and mouse. I dont like using controllers.

To build the bed, grab a thing of the leaves, find a spot on the ground, and drop it, grab another thing, go to the first thing of leaves, should get a option to add to stockpile, Repeat till you have 4 bunches, should get the build mode then. Hit E to start construction, then repeatedly hit the space bar till it is built.

Just incase you haven't already done this but i had the same problem. You can't build a sleep spot as a baby you need to switch to an adult to build the sleep spot
