Reproduction problems
So, I have 3 adult females but only 1 adult male, and the elder males are already paired off. This leaves me with only w offspring from the adult male and 1 of the adult females - the other 2 have no one to bond with. If I advance a generation, I'll be down to just 2 adults. Is there any way to stop my clan from dying out?

you can mate with the elders, just groom them and they leave their girlfriends

3 females = 6 babies = optimal. Just have the same male mate them all, if needed.

kill off elder females then pair off the elder males again, game kind of teaches you the most valuable are the adult female and the least are the elder females, I now just use the elder females for exploring now so if they die it leaves a spare elder male

Thats bad idea as then they all be family related and so can't breed with each other, so then you be forced to find more males but then hit same issue next gen

i found a new thing where i'm about 5 million years in and now even when the females say fertile they won't produce babies no matter how many sexy times, and after a cpl days of doing stuff finally got all 3 to be pregnant, advanced to have my standard 3 babies and i only got 1.
repeated the process but now only one female will get pregnant and the others even tho are fertile won't become pregnant, have tried swapping mates etc. not sure what to do now as i don;t want to advance again just to produce 1 kid.

anyone else have this?

When you Analyze your clan members look for "Family Relation" on the right side of the panel.

If you're brother/sister/mother/father you won't be able to mate.
