Same goes for using piles. I'd LOVE it if they could put all their sticks down into one specific pile, or pick them up from one. Am I missing something?
Got sick of it, gave them all bones now. ez gg wp.
Same goes for you, you don't need a sharpened stick, but it helps a bunch if you're trying to kill the animal instead of poking it. Clanmates can kill animals too, and will have a higher chance of doing so with a sharpened stick.
Honestly, it only take two stick to kill an animal where I'm at, so at some point you don't really need to have sharpened stick.
One for yourself and the other clan members can just have unsharpened sticks and you're good to go.

try a dozen time but didn't get it to work yet...?
But as other people have said, even an un-*stripped* branch is enough to keep your clan safe out in the world. I've killed multiple things with a "raw" branch, it's just about luck.
Of course your chances to kill outright improve with a sharpened stick but these days I only go to the trouble of making a fully sharpened stick if I'm *trying* to kill something to make a Settlement area safer or to gather meat to eat (to advance my Omnivorous neurons).
