Stop Code: Memory Management Error Screen
I'm running Windows 10 pro and have 8Gb RAM and have never had a BSOD before but since running Two Point Hospital it happens very occasionally. I can play the game for hours with no problems and it usually crashes when I'm exiting the game. It's happened a few times while playing and it switches to the Stopcode screen and reboots.

It could be coincidence and the RAM is faulty so I'm going to run Memtest but as this has just started happening could there be something with the way the game exits that's causing the issue? I've not checked the memory usage while the game is running but I doubt it's being maxed out to the point where the computer needs to reboot.

The CPU is i5-3470 quad core and there is no GPU installed. The computer can play graphics intensive games despite no graphics card but since playing Two Point Hospital I've been getting the Stopcode screens which makes me think the game is very memory intensive and causing an error somewhere. It's a concern because the computer is otherwise very stable with a lot of other games and never blue screened before. The whole blue screen experience reminds me of XP and makes me want to projectile vomit which could be an idea for a new disease.

These are the minimum requirements:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 6100 or AMD FX-4350
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GT 1030, 2GB (Legacy: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460), AMD RX550, 2GB (Legacy: AMD Radeon HD 6850), Integrated: Intel HD Graphics 630
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 6 GB available space

If you don't have a GPU, the computer doesn't fulfill the minimum conditions.

I can play the game and am on the tenth hospital but sometimes get the stop code just after exiting the game. Event viewer doesn't show anything other than it rebooted. Maybe installing a GPU will prevent this issue from happening but I've not found one suitable yet and the onboard graphics is probably more powerful than most mid range GPUs.

The Microsoft support page says the stop code error "memory management" is related to the RAM and it only happens with this game.
8 GB of RAM isn't a lot in this day and age but it should be okay for this. I'd run Memtest to see if you have any faulty RAM. Other than that, there's not much else anyone can suggest.

I'd start with the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool that's built into Windows. If that doesn't help, try MemTest86. It's a more thorough test of your memory.

It happened again several hours after I had finished playing the game so it looks completely unrelated but this is the only game I've been playing for the last few weeks so wasn't sure.

Thanks for the tip about that diagnostic tool as I didn't know I had that and have just checked it out. I'll run the reboot and test later as it might take a while but in a way I hope it detects a fault with the RAM because it will make me finally open up the PC for the first time since buying it 16 months ago to replace the RAM and see what kind of GPU can fit in there. I have Memtest on a CD but it was for a 32 bit system so probably wouldn't even run on a 64 bit system.

RAM issues can definitely be a pain. On an old XP system the DVD/RW drive suddenly disappeared from windows manager so I could no longer use it. I tried re-seating all the cables inside the PC and after six months of hair pulling I still couldn't work out why the optical drive was no longer listed as a device. I finally checked the RAM with memtest and it detected errors on one of the 1Gb sticks. I removed it leaving a 1Gb in another slot and the optical drive re-appeared. Not sure how dodgy RAM can stop the optical drive from working but it did for six months.
