Mitton University - Can't Train Psychiatry? Bug?

There is no option to train psychiatry on this level, yet I can build a psychiatrists office and I'm getting challenge requests to cure mock star. Am I missing something?

I managed to train psychiatry. I just needed a training room and an external teacher.

Yes but the option isn't there. Does it unlock after something? It's always been there on every other level. Just this one that seems to have the problem.

Do you have a doctor with a free training slot? From your screen grab, it doesn't look like it (no GP on the list either)

You need to have doctor who have place for a new skill.

i got the same issue but with surgery

Same here. My three janitors (ghost skill) and my three doctors (psychiatry skill) were stuck in the training room and I wasn't able to cancel the training session. After a lot of clicks and attempts to cancel the training, to move my people in another place, to sell the training room.. All animations were played on the same spot withtout going anywhere. I restarted my game and I wasn't able to load my save for Mitton University anymore.

But I find my old saves here : C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Hospital\Cloud\103764998\Saves\Slot1

Rename your xxx.sav file to xxx.sav.bak, to keep it just in case. Now, check the save time to pick the right one for you to restore and rename the backup file from xxx.sav.x.bak to xxx.sav.

For me I had 904.sav, 904.sav.1.bak, 904.sav.2.bak, 904.sav.3.bak. So I renamed my 904.sav to 904.sav.4.bak (you probably need to increment it properly). Then, I made a copy of 904.sav.2.bak and renamed it to 904.sav.

Now I can play again on Mitton University and I restarted before the issue occured so.. My people can be train again now.

You can also contact the Sega or Two Point support and give them your logs files. Here : C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Hospital\Logs and the file "output_log" here : C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Hospital\

I have the same issue with higher Pharmacy levels past pharmacy 1, am I imagining there were higher levels of this? Ready for promotion, slots free, they have pharmacy 1.

Never seen any Pharmacy 2. I think you just pile on Treatment at that point.

For the OP, looking at the skill I notice none of the 'Doctors Only' skills are showing up there. Check under 'Trainees' whether there are any doctors with free training slots. If there are none, either hire a doctor with a free one, or wait for a doctor to get a promotion which will give them a free slot.

I believe there is only one level of pharmacy treatment. I have have just being training them with the normal treatment skill and lock just one or two pharmacy nurses down in there.

Pharmacy, Injections and Radiology are all unique skills, and has no higher level versions.

Im not 100% but I think certain levels may not have certain skills available as there is no illnesses going to present that need them. Built a Pharmacy at the start of one mission and couldnt train Pharmacy...but then no illness needing it appeared the whole mission.

Or could just be a bug.

I can't train psychiatry either, the option just isn't there. Has anyone found a fix yet?
