Save custom room layout
Pretty much the only feature I think this game doesn't have that it should have is the ability to save custom room layouts so you can print out copies of a room without having to tediously place each item in your 15th GP office.

We have a copy room feature already.

Click a completed room and click the copy button.

No need to tediously build each room.

How did I not see that? Thank you!

:) It came out in 1.04 IIRC. So it's been there a while, but yeah, it is easy to miss.

Thought you were going to mention a "library" of all your rooms so you can take them to each hospital.

Then again, I love not using the copy room function. I like to think all my doctors have their little quirks and stories and they have made it "their" office. As if you were a GP and in the same room day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, you would expect to have some differences than a clean new GP office.

What we need now is a way to copy that room between our hospitals instead of taking screenshots and trying to replicate each efficient layout we have constructed in previous hospitals.

Yep, I'd appreciate it!

Yes I've stopped playing because I don't want to reinvent the wheel dozens of times when I go to a new hospital. If I have the base room I can copy between hospitals it would let me play the game and experience new content.

This would be the best thing, the redecoration is kinda waste of time! One time must be more than enough!

Another request for the ability to save room templates, or copies, to be used in other hospitals. Please make this a reality!

yeah i agree, i spend hours at the start of each level rebuilding what I did in previous levels.

It's tedious as hell. I'm usually so bored I have to quit the game for a few days then go back to it when the pain wears off.

I do love how you can copy rooms in the current hospital and paste them, but being able to save them to a library would be just amazing. Kinda like how you can do this in the Sims 4, you can save a room template to your library and load them into any house you want.

Why is this not a thing? Seems crazy simple.
Are we ever gonna get actual modding? Like, someone making whole new machines, etc.?

Is it possible to get in touch with the devs about this? Having to rebuild the same room over and over again, across multiple hospitals is grinding against me quite heavily.

I doubt it. Modded machines would alter the balance of the gameplay that the devs spent so much time working out.
