Took like 20 or 30 tries tho
Do NOT use the ropes to swing, avoid climbing on anything, don't use the paraglider and the grappling hook, and keep spamming jump on obstacles to get a boost.
This was my run. Little micro-mistakes feel like forever in the moment. I made 3 or so but still got the gold at 1:38.72. I started playing again for the DLC and completely forgot there was a hotkey for the grappling hook. That alone would probably get people gold time.

Guessing it might be my game, but every enemy in this challenge staggers me. Actually knocks me back, rather than slows me down.
If I use parachute, and boost too close to the ground (or in front of fire goon), I blow backwards instead of forwards.
Also my chute has never been as manoeuvrable as some of the videos I've been watching on this challenge.
I know my reflexes aren't what they used to be, but damn!
man i've been playing since octover 2022 and never got a save corruption
They keep doing it and I am uninstalling the game because they lack any system to prevent the save files from being lost. Multiple times I progress far into the game only for them to bring out an update that breaks everything. No point playing a game that cannot even save your progress.
From my experience...those who recommend grapple-hooks and parachutes are scammers/trolls, or they refer to an older/outdated version of this challenge, since (e.g. the Youtube-tutorial of "DominatorzCrew", which has been uploaded 1 year ago, is outdated, you can tell by differences in the map-design) already getting started with a chute, alerts you, to return to the mission area and you can't pass the points flying (walking/running/rolling/jumping over them counts though).
Gotta admit, my version seems rigged sometimes.
Compared to the one of others (also with newer map-design like on "vulturusMars"`s channel), showing tutorials...as in their version, it's a cakewalk.
My pilgrim has all abilities unlocked and already some legendary-ranking (not important for the run, but want to point out, this is not snaimail-slowpoke.
For some reason though, the "hold Shift to dash as long as your stamina lasts"- (or how it's called along parkour-abilities) and the "Crowd Runner"- don't work out as asumed.
"Easy/Normal/Hard" for some reason does not affect any of the challenges btw., which is the most ridiculous thing about a difficulty-option to be available at all.
The whole trial definetely would benefit from its' affection.
End of the story...rigged or not, "vulturusMars" helped me a bit, with bringing to my mind, that there are about 2 of the ropes given, which can be used the way, he shows it (the "swinging before releasing and jumping"-part)...and that did the trick after trying the version of "DominatorzCrew" and before that, severall own approaches, which were quite similar to theirs...but as i said, different map, harder enemies, more enemies spawning, abilities not working as asumed...makes it a bit tougher.
It's doable in Bronze, takes some practice for Silver and feels quite struggling for gold.
Some guys mentioned sort of a booster for speed, to use, before you start the race...i don't even own a blueprint for a speed-booster and picked up everything, i could along the way.
Maybe there also is a difference between "Dying Light + DLC" and "Dying Light Reloaded", so the ones with first combo say "easy...!", whilst all with the second version are like "wth!?", can't tell the difference, just noticed, the "Reloaded"-version seems harder right from the start, referring to older critics and tutorials.
Or maybe just my version is rigged (even after multiple times of reverifying) and therefore i play on hard to even harder right from the start, can't tell.
Anyway.
Doable, hard, check Youtube-guys for hints, to better cope with it.
