Sleep to hit morning, sleep again to trigger nightfall and they should be gone.
i did exactly this, and it unfortunately didn't work
Now I'm warned to be carefull since I know that Volatiles are roaming even in Houses. Ok, with the right gear it is for me no problem. But doing some nightquests seems to be now unplayeble in a fresh game.
yep - i didnt want to start an ng+ so i went back with a fresh save, and i wont be able to play several quests (including the one with Mya's music box) which makes leveling slower.
Edit: Quitting to main menu after talking to Moe caused the volatiles to despawn when there at night.
Was able to do one sidequest with only 2 volatiles by cheapshotting them at the doorway. Which takes ages being only lv2.
And apparently they can follow you outside the buildings when you lure them out at day. I really hope that's just a bug.
It happened to me a few times as well, while farming the Tyrant. I know that he is immune to sunlight probably ("Tyrants can pounce on the player even if the light is present") but his proteges shouldn't be but they hunted me even in the day. Sometimes trying to hit me, and sometimes just running around in circles until I killed them all. Probably a glitch.
i guess thats cool, but it would be better if you didnt have to exploit out-of-game crap to make the game playable
