Repair weapons? or get back broken ones?
Is it even possible? if not then once your legendaries or mythic items like the hussar break, they are gone forever right?

It seems weapons that are good quality have sockets for upgrades, adding the upgrade itself will repair it a certain amount based on the quality of the mod upgrade. So you don't really want to mod fully unless you need to repair so at best you could fix a weapon you like 3 times with mods in all slots.
i would like to see repair options in game. I've always hated one time use weapons and having to scour the game to find suitable replacements....

It's annoying but you can't really repair anything, best way to do things is like Zombie said, use it without any mod, place a mod on it that will repair the weapon durability a bit, rince and repeat with the 2 other slot.

Once you don't have any more slot your weapon is done and you can just throw it, don't like it but that's what we got.

From a story stand point i like it, having to scavenge for weapons and build upon them rather than having one weapon kill a thousand Z's and be fine, i did like in the first game each weapon had a limited amount of repairs.

nexus has a mod to give them infinite durability

Will there be an unlimited amount of these legendary weapons? Since we won't be able to repair them after all mods are exhausted..

Darn this looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ noxious system. Like hell i hated throw away weapon system previous game but reading this just made me :BErainbow:.

Like i do get whole survival aspect but why in hell game just wont make melee weapons repair at base thing.. Where long time use would make you in time more defenseless.... While adding mods would increase repair costs etc...

This just make´s legendary weapons less interesting and even using them like meh... Like in previous game i had all legendary melee weapons in storage because average pistol and bow did more that them. Even more buffing them looked ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wasteful. Like i loved wield sword but when its breaks 30 hits just makes me hate melee.

In game´s where is weapon durability there was way to maintain them. With costs like fallout 3-new vegas you used money, skills, items repair rare tools like enclave power armor. In ark you could go to your base fix some weapons and lot more. This just makes in my view less meaningful melee combat game.. Just noxious...

Not being able to repair weapons is just a lame duck and bad Idea and the person who thought of this should be Tarred and feathered and whipped with wet noodle then Fired

Sure just let me just duct tape some more metal to my sword to make it brand new.

Can't you respawn special weapons? Like the hussar?

You can re-add a mod as many times as you want, so you can repair It forever aslong as you don't let the weapon break completely. I've been using a legendary weapon I found for quite awhile now just repairing It over and over.
They could give us the ability to make/use repair kits, or build the repair ability into a workbench or such... Hell, add a blacksmith that can fix them for a price or something.

Luckily for now there are already a few mods on the Dying Light 2 Nexus that make melee weapons more durable or get rid of the durability system altogether.

Is modding huge hassle or simple thing in this game?

Well, as someone who is used to playing Breath of the Wild, this weapons last ok lol. Although, as a knife enthusiast I have to admit I never understood durability in games, good knives with proper heat treatment will never break like that, you could even use a KABAR BK2 as a crowbar if you want.

Video game limitations, i mean why even bother giving us the ability to loot if we can use one weapon for the entire game.
