It's one of the reasons I have a independent transceiver for mine. Windows sees a AUX Cable - no mess no fuss no stupid bluetooth code that windows has no clue how to handle properly. Not to mention much better range.
What happens next is that in the Windows Sound settings, there is Advanced Sound Options that lets you intercept audio from a particular application and send that audio to a particular sound device. So while the game is running (so it appears in Advanced Sound Options), see if there is a listing for the game under Advanced Sound Options that directs the game's audio to go to a particular device.
