Mouse Wheel Is Backwards

Can you either change the way the mouse wheel works or put an option in the controls to reverse it? You have it completely opposite from every other game in existence and it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing. Down is ALWAYS next weapon/item/bar, but in this game scrolling down does the opposite. There is a way to change how it affects the hotbars, but there ISN'T an option to change how it affects carried items like weapons.

Interesting; this has never bothered me. It makes sense to me that up increments and down decrements. It could also be the types of games I play.

I still struggle with this, even after over 15 days of real time play, I always scroll the wrong way through hotbars.

Even though I have everything on hotbars, I end up using the build menu instead becuase this just annoys me.

They tend to do backwards things... Like Hot bar is 1-10? wtf? it's always 1-0 haha. They even set the (10/0) to delete and not 0.... Strange things like this are a bit odd at times haha.

Huh. I figured the mouse wheel is just an RNG select, because there is no consistency in what item shows up.

If you live in a country where you drive on the right side of the road, then take a business trip to one where they drive on the left side of the road, you'd really have trouble "doing it the way that you ALWAYS drive, on the right." It's even scary as a passenger in a limousine or taxi cab... not recommended for the weak of heart, stay at home and never find out about other cultures, it's safer that way.

You will eventually have to start driving on the left because that's the way that it's done in that country (program) and you either conform to their way of doing things, or get a lot of driving tickets and are involved in several accidents, maybe you'll have a fatal one. So... you can start driving on the left in a car with the steering wheel "on the other side" or you can be stubborn and suffer the consequences of the choices that you make, and insist that they make it like they do back at home, driving on the right (UP vs DOWN). It's a big world and like it or not, certain cultures do things differently than the one that you've grown up in, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" type of philosophy applies here, it will also provide you with an opportunity to make new neural pathways inside your brain and thus increase the general "flux capacity" of it, it's exercise for the mind.

Most pioneers don't even realize that you can have multiple hot bars, I guess that they don't like to read instructions (Options) either, ALT scroll provides you access, thank god that there are YouTube videos and discussion boards for this game or they might not know how to do anything, noobs!

TIP: You'll find that the turns will be very confusing at first, especially left turns if you are accustom to driving on the left side, and right turns if you are accustom to driving on the right. So practice those until you figure them out.

TIP: Choose your best weapon(s) and have heals in the rest of the slots when travelling/ exploring, then swap out your building stuff (hand slots), i.e. beacon, color gun. when you've cleared the area out and have made camp. That way, no matter which way that you scroll, you'll have a heal in between your weapons for regeneration of health during your battles.

Your analogy is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥. A better one would be going to country that drives backwards. Everyone else in the world drives forwards, why would one randomly decide to have everyone drive backwards? THAT is what Coffee Stain did with this game.

Eh, it's somewhat common is some of the games that I've played, though that's mainly the source games. Go try half life or Gmod, I think it's reversed there.
