Hotfix broke the game
After the last two hotfixes last night and today broke the game with UE5 Crash Report when launching the game, but worked just fine before the last two updates.

Please revert! I just paid for a server and now i can´t play! :/ Thx!

Well steam downloaded an 450kb update last night, and today i got an 575kb update.
So something is changed, and i played the game just fine yesterday. :)

Never got those. That is very likely because these weren't updates but shader pre-caching.

Is there a way to reset all video settings. Etc. Maybe it will help, encontered simlar crashes under the BETA, but had always been able to relaunch the game.

Getting this when launching the game, at loading screen before main menu:

If you check your game properties (the updates tab) you'd notice that the last update dates from 19th of September.

Those aren't updates, that's shader pre-cache data. Has nothing to do with the game, also see your Steam client settings for that (global settings => downloads tab).

Yeah the game works with "-DX11" and it also worked by disabling the pre-cache data. I just asumed it was an hotfix/update since it was listed in my "Manage downloads"

If you uninstall the game...then delete this folder here: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\FactoryGame

That deletes all .config and cache files associated with the game itself...you can then clear your GPU shader cache and DirectX cache (also run DirectX runtime installer) and you will have a clean install.

Make sure you save your .sav files and blueprints from that FactoryGame folder.
