Just tested in a new game turning off narrative messages in gameplay and setting dialogue to 0 completely removes Ada so not sure what you're talking about.
have you learnt to read its very simple to understand i asked how to shut the ♥♥♥♥♥ up that was it. her messages are annoying as soon as you do something she bangs on and ive heard it way to many times over. so gets a bit draining to listen to when you already know
my misses is playing the game for me she doesnt likie her either but gives her a game to play. ill move on to something that isnt completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to listen to
By being a good pioneer, completing project assembly and saving humanity/all the kittens and puppies!
Completing a tier objective
Completing a phase objective
Completing a MAM research objective
Discovering a new resource for the first time
Collecting a Mercer Sphere, Sommersloop, or Hard drive.
Another thing to note is that during the early game you are unlocking things fairly fast so you will hear ADA more often, but as you move into later and later tiers and phases you end up spending more and more time just building factories so ADA voice lines will naturally become less and less frequent.
That said, because you can predict when ADA might say something you can simply temporarily turn off your speakers before doing something that might trigger ADA and then turn them back on a minute or so later.
