Steam is being really stubborn about that with error messages for me when I try to expand it so it isn't cut off.

So blame steam, not people "being too lazy to check the news" my steam library latest doesn't even display anything about it in the first place.

yeah, i just right-clicked the thing, got an address, and loaded it in my browser. or you can use the link taytes posted.

i mean, sure, but the news tab even in its current condition still serves to tell you that there are news posts to read, and even what they are about.

i'm sure they'll fix it before they break something else. probably.

Like it or not but the newstab has all the details about the latest update. When talking builds I get the impression that you're talking about experimental branches, and if you're using those then surely you'll know where to get the news on those?

Seems kinda obvious to me that now that the game is out of EA the experimental updates won't be covered in the mainstream news channels any longer because a majority of the players won't be messing around with that in the first place.

Patch notes for those will be covered in channelsl dedicated to, well, experimental updates. I'd assume channels for beta testers, the official ones? ;) Have you tried their Discord yet?

i'm looking forward to finding scanning a whole ton of drives at once next time i play, now that the ui won't break from doing so.

bad news! hard drives numbers up, but go down when you interact with existing crash sites you have already looted. seems they reset an internal counter.

oof. well i don't have radar towers yet in my current save, but good to know in case a friend runs into it

gets worse- number does not match how many crash sites are in an area, not all of them lower the number when interacted with.
