I found the real entrance in time but wasn’t easy.
So there is only one entrance. It seems to be very difficult to reach, as I can see there is a small gap near the floor and I am too fat to slide in.
I'll keep looking as there may be a crack near the ceiling.
If I'm not mistaken, the 137.233 / -156.060 / 161 Somersloop is inside such a hidden cave
Bring in some electricity, and a hoverpack, then go to the sloops location, aim your cross hair at the sloop while hovering, and you should be able to reach it, right through the obstacle.

Hover packs include a very extended reach for the pioneer, I use this to access things that are 'blocked' all the time.
How could I have missed this beast?
Good tip.
Thanks, its also worth noting that hover packs let you reach containers and structures, as well as lootable objects, like berries, or crash sites from a good distance as well. Great when exploring. Just bring materials for lots of power poles and power lines.
It's the cave in the rocky desert area, just north of the river, right? -230990, -106792 or so?
That's a good idea, I just cover my entire map in power lines so I can fly everywhere and anywhere.
look for a hatcher defending a blue slime near the entrance. Then you'll have to face few spitters, find *another** hidden path (blue slimes will yet again show the way) and face some stingers.
