Minecraft... "only" one of the most popular games of all time. Guess what? ;)
But that's not the point I'm trying to make here. Treating a game as if it were another is the main reason why things are going to fail for players.
Satisfactory isn't Factorio... It's also not like any of those quicksave games. Yet instead of acknowlading this (lousy spelling) and making the best out of it... nah, whine, whine, whine.
When in Rome... try to do as the Romans do, you'll have a lot more fun that way.
The fact that you "stand by what you said" isn't something you should even put in words. That's not a virtue. It's a red flag about your personality.
There's nothing lazy about being bothered by something being way more tedious than it needs to be.
I tried to leave it at agree to disagree but then you go and take a shot at my personality? Nice 👍
Your call. I won't back down when someone is clearly wrong and arrogant about it. And you were really easy to rope back in when you tried to disengage with your "so I'm done with this...." (my immediate response was instinctively tailored to shut that down and manipulate you into continuing)
That said, I'll agree that the "beyond insane" comment I made was a bit over the top. But that's a hilariously petty thing for you to have gotten hung up on. So even if my characterization of the severity of the issue was over the top, you'res till wrong across the board here.
Now shall we leave it at agree to disagree? :)
Okay...if you want to keep digging a hole then fine....lets take this one step at a time...
Your main complaint is this: "3 key presses + 5 clicks to save a game... (come on.. I'm sure you will agree that is beyond insane.. if not done as a troll to us)"
Correct?
anyways, no, there are lots more games that are "harder" to save in. also, quit it with the "subtle" salt.
it takes about .5 to 1.5 more seconds to save than the fastest saving game i've encountered.
and seriously, CLICKING YOUR MOUSE isn't that big of an issue. i'd understand if it was some super fast super awesome cool game, but in this game you're SUPPOSED to wait hours for items.
and an extra second or so is too much, when saving your game of all things? you're clicking hundreds of times to drop foundations and buildings down. now it's an issue? NOW? jeez
also: quicksaving. why would you want it? save scumming for hard drives? do that manually, or just edit your save if you're that "dedicated"
