Empty Drop Pod
I was going around the edge of the map and found an empty drop pod. No HD. Can anyone confirm? Coordinates at 2209,1829. Wanted to see if it was a bug in my game, or was left empty on accident by devs. Thanks

2 Other possibilities
1) You grabbed it already, and forgot
2) You got that stupid visually bug, the HDD is still there but the icon doesn't show.
If you double click the Spot where the HDD should be you will still collect it.

I hadn't been to this area yet. I was going around outside of the map. Could be a visual bug. Will travel back there and double check it.

There are two or three crash sites that don't have HDD in them. Some people mark the pods with something after they've been there, ie. a power pole, foundation block.

Ah OK thanks fornthe info. I thought it was a glitch

I went to that one just now. It's empty for me also.

Idk about a missing hard drive but I've been finding all the crash sites I've never visited prior empty of all the free loot. Oddly started after I turned on the ability to insta learn all the bonus recipes but... idk kinda cruel to take away my free stuff because I got frustrated at not getting the recipes I was after. The advanced setting stuff really does need to tell you the draw backs to turning them on if that one took the free stuff away. Although I now wonder if the one to dismiss Stingers causes an increase in uranium nugget spawn as...those are now everywhere...even in the giant trees

I have collected every single hard-drive from the crash sites, a bunch of them respawned with update 8, and random pods close themselves with out a new drive appearing in them every so often (might be just some random bugs doing that).

I have radar towers dotted around the world and I tend to have the interactive map up on my secondary monitor to keep track of the collectables, it makes things so much easier.

The 114 of them, you only need 87 for everything... so you really need "ALL" of them.
But hey you are ready if them add more recipes

how do you get the map on your second monitor?

The interactive map is from this website https://satisfactory-calculator.com/, I just upload my save to it after I make major changes or collect a bunch of stuff, this is what I have on my secondary monitor.

The in-game map is still on the main screen, since its obviously in the game, I just compare it with the web version

I just started having the issue today as well. I was looking at a crash site that had a hard drive then I got knocked out of the UI and now it's not there. Double clicking doesn't do anything. Now more are showing up empty. They still show up on the object scanner.
