A tip that i didn't click to when i first started playing is you can press space bar on the craft bench for continuous production, i used to weight my mouse lol
I already do all of that. I'm constantly running out of biomass and/or fuel with the 5 generators all together.
I'm only gathering leaves for biomass/biofuel to keep them running. It's annoying.
do you have the chain saw yet? that wipes out large chunks of leaves and wood in 1 hit, i usually have 2 constructors, one doing leaves n another doing wood, dropping into the same storage, do you have bio fuel or just biomass? biofuel is much better and push for coal power asap, biofuel is a pain for sure.
if you have biofuel don't waste your time on biomass or plain leaves or wood, just biofuel the lot
Will try that, thanks!
Then build a LOT of generators, the more you have, the slower they burn their fuel.
and also go to coal-fired power plants.
I have not even supplied them with biomass on a regular basis
they are only an annoying evil for the entry.
A full stack of solid biofuel in a biomass generator will run a 1:1 power generation to usage ratio for 50 minutes. However, if you scale your generators over your usage, the frequency at which you need to fill your generators is greatly reduced. If you are using 100 power, but build generators to produce 1000 power, your runtime increases to over 8 hours per filling.
Yes, that does require that you have the biomass supply to fill the burners, and you are unlikely to get that stockpile built up if you started in either the rocky desert or grass fields. Northern Forest is by far the easiest biomass start while the two oases in the dune desert can also set you up nicely. For those other starts, rushing coal is far more important.
the two at the stroke and three in addition and fastest possible to the coal here some stay far too long in this stage.
That's really easy to say if you already know what you are doing. If you don't then this is a very foolish thing to try to do when you are still figuring everything out.
