Explorer's engine sound effect seems bad
anyone else noticed something is off with the Explorer's sound effects ?
it feels like a sound of a motor driving by on a highway with the fading sound.
I would love to hear it initially roar and kind of sound like its switching gears from stop to higher speeds then it should sound a bit like an engine on idle when its cruising and you are not pushing the button to run. its not BIG DEAL just please add on the next update if possible.

It sounds like a combustion engine when you feed it with a battery. Pretty spooky.

well its ok for it to sound like an electric vehicle without combustion.
but just without the fading sound. like im standing on a highway listening to vehicles pass by .... with the gradual increase then gradual decrease but the vehicle never left your position.

I thought the fading sound was it changing gear - change up, revs drop

i was expecting an abrupt drop in the rev sound if it does change gear not fade out. like BRRRRRR.... STOP(CHANGE GEAR)..... BRRRRRRR
instead it goes BRRRRRrhrhrhrhrhhrhrhrhrhhmmm......
i think when you start moving forward the single sound it makes is the high pitch rev then fades to low its not 2 different sounds. when i press W its always the high pitch then fade to black tone. in fact when im pressing and holding W you would think it would sound like an engine reving all the way but its not, it fades.

Fun fact, ATV vehicles have a specialized Exhaust Decibel rules when making and largely their noise is the result of an utter lack of engine insulation, this is why in cars you usually dont hear it as while the engineblock is large, its surrounded by other devices that muffle its sound where on ATV's is actually normally exposed just like with the Explorer in game. There is however a device known as the Aftermarket ATV Silencer which is designed for ATV's to be "Muted" as it were.

After looking at the ingame vehicle I can see how its engine is encased but idk if its just in there alone or not but I can see the lack of exhaust implying that there may be an ATV Silencer on it, if so then it stands to logic that the vehicle is not so much lacking noise, rather its noise is more softer to allow the Engineer to bypass animals without making them mad which is actually indeed what ATV Silencers are meant to do, their meant for offroad vehicles to bypass animals with easily aggressive/defensive natures without waking them up or spooking them.

it just doesn't make any sense. it starts by sounding as a LOUD ROAR then fades away like a vehicle who is moving opposite your position. vehicles on a highway. if there was a silencer wouldn't that be silenced all the way ?

there are a lot of ATV sound files on youtube that shows when you REV the engine STEADY it roars STEADY if i let go of the FORWARD BUTTON yeah i expect it to dial down on the engine roar sound but pressing and holding the FORWARD BUTTON makes this initial ROAR SOUND and is fun to hear until it starts sounding like the engine just left you and went the other way.

Recently, my explorer sounds like it needs a tune-up, fuel filter, oil filter, and oil changed. it also seems to run into invisible objects on perfectly smooth concrete painted foundation roads, it's bouncing around like it's on rough terrain, so the shock absorbers and the suspension system need to be looked at too, if only there was a good mechanic on Massage AB, and it sure isn't me. Happy Pioneering!

exactly. it fades away. even when you are pressing and holding the acceleration. the engine sound starts revving but then fades away.

The engine sound it fairly bad and the explorer seems to have an infinite number of gears.
When driving up long ramps, it can get stuck with a between gears sound effect which absolutely grates on me after a few seconds. The explorer is loads of fun otherwise, would be nice to have this fixed.

What triggers me is how the engine sounds like accelerating and going up "infinite" gears, while you drive uphill and become slower ... ... with the random "sounds like you hit a wall, drop speed to zero, and start all over again" sound in between ...
Utterly derp.
Cant you at least have a speed based sound system instead of just Microsoft-Race-Simulator-going-up-gears-for-all-eternity ?
