How to see the train tracks on the map?
How to see the train tracks on the map? Maybe there is some kind of modification?

use beacons, only way i could think of. other than that nothing else but your HUB and vehicles will appear on the map.

You don't, same as you don't see structures on map.

Maps fully useless kek. It doesn't give you any important info. It's there just to be there. If it could plot things like railroads and node locations or all that stuff. I bet I'd actually look at it ever. Maybe there will be more to it later on but who knows.

Not like you really need a map in a static world. You learn your way just by walking around enough.

Well... you can see the trains, and other vehicles moving around, maybe you don't actually have to see the tracks?

You need to see railway rails in order to properly plan the construction of new ones. You also need to see industrial complexes in order to properly plan the transport system. I really want to get all this in some patch, and preferably before the strength of the structures is introduced and they stop hanging in the air.

Who said that? It shoud be not that hard do render outline boxes of train tracks or paths on a 2d map. I mean, if the calculator site can do this... Just suggest this on the Q&A Site. Uh ... and the recorded paths of trucks and Co are already shown in Update 5. so long dudes ^^ (EDIT "the recorded paths of trucks and co are already shown"... in a miniature map, so they are aware of it)

You can use https://satisfactory-calculator.com/
Just upload your save to it and it shows you train lines, power lines etc that you have built.

(not sure if it will work right if you use the experimental build at this time though, but works with Update 4)

It's not useless, you can use it to see which way you can drive a vehicle if you know how to read a topographic map. You can also use it to look for crash sites if you've marked the sites you've visited with beacons.
