Do you Think We'll Ever See Aircraft/Flying Drones?
Maybe a T8 unlock?

No. The devs have said no many times.

If you watch their last video, it doesn't seem like they're saying no.

Exploration stops being relevant towards the end game. There's nothing to break at tier 7 and 8.

Sorry, I guess not the last video. The "Q&A" video. Someone asks about drones and airplanes and he kind of says "we'll figure something out". It's kind of vague, but it seems like drones (or an alternative) might be on their minds.
Exploration is NEVER relevant in this game. The map is static and fully readable on lots of websites. You can build bridges to anywhere and everywhere using foundations. There are no secrets to discover in Satisfactory's map. It's not a treasure hunt. It's a collect-a-thon.

At the very least, we could do with a service helicopter. I imagine it would be constructed from aluminum. Some heavy cargo VTOLs would be nice for reaching nodes too small and/or inaccessible to reach by road or rail. Just the thing for shipping electronics from a satellite petroleum facility to your main one.

The only way for exploration to become relevant after the first couple playthroughs is to look into randomly generated maps like with Factorio/Minecraft. I'm not knocking the game either, I think a static map is fine, but honestly, there's a reason why games with procedural generation always have a sense of "freshness/newness" when starting a new game.

What the hell does game balance mean in a single player game? Does it just mean that the player isn't getting annoyed enough and pissed off enough?

Not once has restricting the player's movement and ability to traverse the map ever increased the fun the player has. It has always REDUCED the fun the player can have.

I guess you could always use the "flying manta ray" use it like a city bus or figure out how to harness it and drive to your different outposts, be sure to wear your jetpack and/or parachutes with blade runners for a soft landing timing is important here, maybe jump up on the space elevator or the pod and have someone launch it, just to see where it goes, maybe visit the "mother ship."

That sounds like a fun idea to mess around with, at least for the giggles.

If people are really concerned about exploration in the game, then you could make it an unlock that uses Mercer Sphere or the other red thing you get by exploring.
You can't break exploration if you get to move around the map only after you have already explored it.

I think it would be really cool to be able to fly in something, just sticking fuel in and giving me unlimited reign in my world
