Fun things to do when bored.

I was building my factory when I got bored on a project I was doing. Anyone have any suggestions on fun things I can do while in this bored phase?

PS: Already did testing on hyper tubes.

Parkour. There's a mountain-ish thing along the water north of Rocky Desert that's super fun to scale on foot. There are a bunch of power slugs all along the way, so there's at least some tangible reward.

Build a factory cart skatepark. Bring some friends along for double the fun

I'm so looking forward to testing out the new auto pilot mechanics on this to get some really good automated half pipe action going!

Note: the factory cart is awful at driving across terrain... but, I discovered it has little problem doing so if you drive in reverse lol.
Once you're done with that, why not hop on board the giant flying manta for some stunning views?

Try starting a new project or try taking a break with some other game. Sometimes the game unfortunately looses the "satis" part of its name. Perhaps some things revealed in 1.0 will remedy this, but for now what this game offers and does really well is just building for buildings sake.

Exploring and jumping from high places to other high places is fun. Trying to nail that epic Jetpack coast across a bottomless stomach-churning chasm to a treetop on the other side etc. Just remember where you parked your gear lol

Build a huge tower, up to just below the top dead-limit of the map, and then jump into a tube at the base of the tower. See if you can steer through the fog and the air like that and not kill yourself. Expand this where you exit the tube straight up and down into another tube a couple of times.

You can even expand further with hyperubes all over the map and see how long you can make the ride and how long it takes. Think I remember a 10-11 (or was that by train?) minute trip on YT the last time I checked.

Go for WR on this ultimate extreme ride. :D

Interesting idea! I think it's possible to time it right and launch yourself inside the cart off one of the bridges onto the Manta's back, but it would be tricky to stay on. It's tricky enough already on foot lol.
Although if you wanted to spoof it, you could jump onto the back first and then unpack your cart ;)

Set up some Explorers in the Dune Desert to run a Baja Rally circuit. Of course, that assumes they fixed the AI so the vehicles drive flat out and sail off of dunes just like when you recorded the path.

Drop a truck station to refuel them as they pass under it.

Good idea. I am at that point in the game where I can build a big zip-line course. I will try that.

Maybe a zipline course, with jump pads, and leaps of faith where you need to use a parachute, or jet pack? Combination of all the toys, I mean tools you acquired back when you weren't so bored, and didn't need to take a building break. Sounds like a new YouTube video to me.
