I Made a Spreadsheet...
Took me two days to do this, so happy its done. I'm exhausted so I'm not gonna describe it much but its an efficiency spreadsheet aimed at letting you figure out what you're going to need before you build everything. So planning that big base? Here's your helper.

What does it do?

1) Measures Power Consumption

2) Shows you the resources you're using up and how much.

3) Shows you how many production buildings you will need.

4) Lets you plan how many power buildings you will need.

Some of the information is a little cramped, it definitely needs to be organized a little better. It also can't do somethings:

1) Only renewable sources of energy are included.

2) Space Elevator requirements are not accounted for, nor are the items required in the spreadsheet.

3) Overclocking is a little tough to account for when you can have a different setting on every building. The Spreadsheet lets you add overclocking to the data but it forces all factories producing a particular recipe to run at the same efficiency (ie three factories at 150% and not two factories at 100% and one at 250%)

5) Its a planning tool for future building, it doesn't help much with fixing what you have already (though you can enter the data to see).

6) Items and resources than can not be completely automated are not included.

I made this for myself to suit my needs, it may not work well for everyone but I'm hoping some folks will get some use out of it. Looks a little wonky on Google Spreadsheet so if you can download the file feel free to use, repurpose and whatever else. There might be a mistake or two, just let me know and I can fix it. Reddit post will always link to the updated version.

I think that it's great, that you've put a lot of work into it, and that people could use it as a start to adjust to their own needs, thanks for all of your hard work, you deserve a 'pat on the back'.

As somebody who has done stuff like this (guides, sheets, etc) nice work!

Keep in mind you will need to redo it once U4 happens.

*not looking forward to seeing my base break and will need to check my own guide for changes needed to it.
