I recommend climbing up from where your base is using towers and such and looking around. It is much easier to build near the water than moving the water to you.
I can also recommend this website: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ where you can upload your safefile and view your progress on the interactive map.
2. There's water everywhere - You can't walk for long without falling into a lake or a river. Literally just look up one of the (interactive) maps and head out based on your spawn location to find some.
wow, what universe do you live in where 7 months = 2 years?
Have you considered using eyes? Or the map? If you can't find water, you're going to have a very hard time on this game.
Who necros a 4 year old thread just to whine about this?
Water isn't a resource node in that definition, ergo... you can't ping it. For obvious reasons: for starters it gives more value to unlocking the map. Which is something you should try looking at; you can open it with the "m" key.
