Had to set the game exe to " start as administrator", then it worked fine.
Also on a GTX 970 here, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 PRO.
When you start the game as administrator, what you're doing is actually blocking any third-party software that's not also running as administrator from injecting itself into the game. The game itself doesn't need admin privs., you're actually just elevating it into a state where third-party software running with normal privs. just can't touch it.
Now, that doesn't really help you resolve your problem. I just wanted to point this out.
To resolve the problem, at least in the case of my own software, I had to compensate for the fact that he game works by loading different DLLs for the launcher, and each game. My software was preventing that from working by changing the directory the game looks for its DLLs in. I'm sure your problem is the exact same, and in your case, you can't change the software so you just have to figure out what the software that's doing it is and disable it.
The primary culprit would be stuff like video capture, GeDoSaTo, etc.
Thanks for that explanation. With that i found the culprit, it was actually the "K Special Injector" that i had running in the background for some other games. After i closed it down the game starts without needing the admin rights. Thx again.
I have a patch for this that will be released shortly.
Oh , ha ha ha. Did not notice that you are the creator. Awesome software btw, helped a ton in different games. :P
It's something that verifying files doesn't put back on for you.
