Controls keep changing to keyboard?

Trying to play with an Xbox controller but the controls keep changing back to mouse and keyboard every few minutes.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

The game's probably seeing the gamepad disconnect intermittently.

Special K has a feature that can "placehold" XInput controllers. This causes a game to continue seeing your controller as connected even if it loses its connection briefly.

Once your controller re-establishes its connection it resumes normal operation.

A minimal install of Special K for this game is provided here[gitlab.com].

Extract that to your game's install directory.

Configuring the placeholder feature involves pressing Ctrl + Shift + Backspace (or Back + Start on a gamepad) to open my mod's config menu, then selecting Input Management | Gamepad
