i want to buy it.
50% is for 1 year old game, Not 3 years old gmme
This game should be atleast 70% off now.
Yes, it's not a perfect port but nothing that can't be fixed. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=914437196&searchtext=far
If you like sci-fi, definitedly.
DMC's main focus is on gameplay, while story is pretty simplistic and it's there just for the sake of it.
NieR Automata is basically a polar opposite. It focuses on telling you a deep and meaningful story, putting crazy gameplay mechanics aside. The combat is still satisfying when you actually try to do combos instead of mashing Light Attack button 24/7, but again, it is not the main focus here.
Second, if a game is on discount at X%, they won't change it during that discount, so even assuming one day they'll place a bigger discount on it, for now it's 50%, take it or leave it.
Lastly, if you want to consider the whole 3 years this game has been out, then you should compare its current price to the one it was on release, and on release it was priced at $60 with no DLC, and the DLC was 14, so it was $74 for game+dlc(which is what you get now buying GOTY edition).
Then they released GOTY edition which included the DLC, and the price didn't change, $60, so it was already $14 cheaper.
Then the game in its GOTY edition received a permanent price drop to $40, so even without discount you'd be paying nearly 50% less of the price it was released at, for the same content(game+dlc).
Then it went on sale multiple times, at $30 and at $26, with this year in march and now being the first time this game has been this cheap at $20.
To sum it up, if you really want to consider the whole 3 years this game has been out, you have to compare its current price with the one it was 3 years ago, and buying now at $20 means paying 73% less than how it was priced 3 years ago on release for the same content, which is a greater discount than the one you'd want.
I am running out of playable games these days.
So i decided to buy it.
Not very happy tho, with the price.
