Looking for save file after prologue
I want to play this game but I'm so sick of the prologue and don't want to play it any more, does anyone have a save file just after the first boss?

If you own the DLC then you could make use of this one: https://github.com/Idearum/NieRAutomata-New-Game-with-Costumes/tree/master/Post-Prologue%20-%20Heavy%20Armor%20(DLC%20equipped)

It is a save from when I tried out some save file modding, so it currently have the DLC costume equipped in the Bunker directly after the prologue, with no way to equip it until you arrive to the City Ruins and retrieve the old corpse from the prologue boss fight. That will then grant you the Heavy Armor set which you'll be able to use to reset 2B's look to the classic one.

My plan is to configure and set up appropriate saves for all scenarios, without 2B in that damn dress.

Edit: You'll have to use this SteamID64 editor to change my SteamID64 in the save file to your own: https://github.com/Idearum/NieRAutomata-SteamID64-Editor

Why don't you just put it on easy and get it over with. Then switch it to whatever you want after.

Damn dude, really? Do you know how to heal at least? That might help

Ugh, the prologue is just tedious. It is filled with unskippable stuff and is basically 20 minutes of chores, even when you sprint past everything quickly (I know, I did). I understand why OP would like to skip it on a new game.

I like it, personally. But if he's not enjoying himself with it, then that's why I merely suggested he lower the difficulty to get through it as fast as possible. I think just outright skipping it isn't the best option, because then he's missing character development and story bits.

I care about the character development but I'm not going to sacrifice hours to see 5 mins of cutscene I already know. I think it's stupid I should have to change the game to easy in order to progress pass the prologue. Bad design.
Thanks for your help Aemony!

I mean, you don't *have* to change it to easy to get through it, but okay. *shrug*

Or should I say, I'd rather not be sick to death of the game before it even starts.
