So, what does YoRHa stand for anyway?
Chances are, it possibly contains a Japanese pun but there's no way to know for sure. And the odd capitalization can bring to mind SeeD from FFVIII that isn't that well explained either.

“Actually, Yoko Taro has already discussed this in the past. He said that choosing to write "NieR" was a style choice with no deeper meaning. On the other hand, he mentioned that the meaning of the word "YoRHa" had specific kanji, which basically means "passing leaf"...but that there's no deeper meaning to it either. He also mentioned that there is a reason for capitalizing it the way it is, but he kept it a secret.”

“Yoko: For NieR, it was just a design choice regarding the logo. I thought it felt a little light, which is why we decided to capitalize it. As for the YoRHa logo… that’s secret.”
