Next: Make sure both your in-game setting and FAR setting for fullscreen mode are matched and that the respective resolutions are matched and there is no resolution overridein FAR. Additionally, the Scaling Mode has to be set to Unspecified. Make also sure Ambient Occlusion is set to On in game's settings, as this activates another AA which is not as demanding as MSAA.
Although borderless mode is comfortable to switch between opened windows, I recommend using fullscreen mode because it is slightly less demanding on the GPU, at least this is what RTSS told me when comparing both modes.
Last but not least: The game's graphics unfortunately aren't as pristine as those of other current titles, especially environment textures with their low resolution (GPUnity, who created a 4k texture pack said something about default resolution being 512x512).
Wouldn't be suprised something interfered with mod and it didn't fixed that resolution display issue.
