All the real endings have no requirements beyond simply playing through the game.
It's not much like the past games. Drop rates are generous, and items stick around for a long time. (Now chip farming is another story entirely, but you're not required to do that for anything.)
Later on you can also equip +100% Drop Rate chips, allowing you to gather most materials with ease.
If you are really a quest maniac then go ahead to do it,it's super grindy cuz you might be getting like 85%-90% after you've cleared the whole game, and the rest is super rare
And welp, only ending Y requires all weapon to be upgraded in order to get that ending
Not grindy, theres a way to triple your money unless they patched it.
After you unlock chapter select simply load up the level after you beat the boss in the theme park, run over to the clown vendor buy the books for like 3.5k.
run to a saving station, save the game and load up chapter select again and pick a chapter in route C, run back to the vendor and sell them back for like 12k. Also machine cores sells for 25k a pop in route c so sell them if u have leftovers.
Now you should have alot of money and all you need now is the materials which can be bought off emil.
To get emil selling you the right stuff run to the bridge by the mall, open up the map if hes not where you want him to be (his store changes on his route) Simply run over the bridge into the mall then run back unto the bridge and 3-5 steps before you're on the other side by the save station open up the map and see where he spawned this time.
Keep doing this till he spawns where you want him. For high tier expensive upgrade materials and the 2 other weapons you want to stopp him on the road outside rebel camp.
