Nier Automata wont start

After installing, i started the game but it wont run, nothing happens

The game takes a while to launch due to Denuvo, so expect 10-15 seconds at least after you hit Launch and before you see a game window. I'd recommend you to restart Steam and try and launch it again and then just wait for a while.

You can monitor the game executable through Task Manager in Windows, the process is called NieRAutomata.exe

Does the process just idle in the background without any activity? Do you use a Kensington device or touch-based input? Are you using third-party stuff (including the FAR mod) ?

From task manager Nier automata is in the background processes. No idea what a Kensington device is. I dont have mods since i download the game straight from steam.

" the server is not reacheble, check your internet connection and click retry. "
"In case the problem presists, click "next" to open the support website in the defult browser"

Odd, Denuvo does need internet connection to verify that you own copy of game at least once in a while but I find that error msg riddicules.

As Macula mentioned something seems to be blocking the connection to Denuvo's servers, which is required on the first launch for the game to get a key for the game tailored to your hardware.

Disable any firewall and antivirus protection you might have running, and it might work better.

After redownloading the game from the hard drive to the SSD, It still wont start but on steam it says running.

The files aren't the problem. The connection to Denuvo's servers are. You have something between the game and Denuvo's servers that prevents the connection from being established.

I recommend you to contact Denuvo's support as that prompt that opened mentioned.

Maybe the Denuvo server is too busy or under attack (not surprise considering I took an hour to finish my transaction last night).
