For example, the loading screen is infamously shown incorrectly at all other resolutions than 1600x900:
Other resolution: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/AczZoNeso04/hq720.jpg
1600x900: https://gamerescape.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Review-Nier-Automata-Loading.png (ignore the fact that the image itself is 1920x1080, it have most likely been upscaled post-capture)
After reading this post, I launched the game to check and yes I did have black lines. They are visible enough if I pay attention.
Why do I have this bug? Simple, I'm using a custom resolution of 1300p through AMD VSR. I know it sounds weird but 1300p is the sweet spot for me to play NieR:Automata. It's the highest res I can play with a locked 60fps and minimum input lag.
Once again, Aemony gave me hints to how to fix this. I tried others VSR res available.
1300p: thick black lines, barely visible
1440p: no black lines!
1800p: no black lines
1080p: no black lines ofc, it's my native res.
900p: no black lines
720p: thin black lines, visible
So I tried to fix this by lowering my custom resolution by 1 pixel.
1299p to 1298p: black lines
1297p to 1296p: black lines but much less noticeable.
1295p: almost not noticeable at all
1294p: I can't see anything!
Thank you aKu for mentioning this. Now I'm playing at 2296x1294 with a cleaner image.
